Amazon Rainforest Sound Expedition

The Amazon Rainforest Sound Expedition is a long-term artistic project initiated in 2016 by musician and sound artist Xingyu Li. The project is dedicated to recording and preserving the unique soundscapes of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest and sharing them with international audiences through music, sound art, and multimedia projects. Supported by an international crowdfunding campaign, the first expedition lasted 15 days in the Amazon, resulting in an extensive archive of natural sounds.
